Winter Camp 2006
On the 20th October 2006 3rd Davyhulme Explorers held a joint winter camp with our friends from 1st Flixton (Loki) Explorers. 
The camp was held at Middlewood with the idea of the two groups to have some fun and get to know each other so we can undertake future joint activities in the future. 
The weekend seemed to take on the theme of "Wet,Wet,Wet" no not the pop group but:-WET- From The Rain
WET- From The Activities
WET- From The Mud
The Saturday challenge was to build a catapult that could throw sufficent water as to stop your opponents from building a fire. 
The teams worked hard together and both teams made a fuctional catapult and began to shoot at the opposit teams fire lighting team. It was of couse up to the team to shelter the fire from the flood if they wish.
