Scouts, like the Beavers is close to full. However, there is no max. number, just a number that the leaders can cope with, which we feel we are getting close to at 30. We have seen an increase in our membership due to our programme. Like the Beavers, we have tried to get out as much as possible wth hikes, a bike nights and a few nights on Shooting, Archery, Fencing, etc. I have to thank Julie from 2U, Derek from 1D and Jackie Redikin for their help. We may not have entered a team in the Row Flag (camping competition) this year but we could easily kill the winner by one of three ways. |

| Explorers Some good nights and some not so good. Richard has done well on his own whilst Ian TH has been busy with work. They have had some joint meetings with the rest of the District, some nights out, and have joined in with some of the Scout meetings and really enjoyed their programme at the District Camp. |
Band The band have taken part in the first two contests, winning 4 trophies at Halesowen and 1 at Rubery. The next event, carnivals aside, will be the big one, the World Jamboree, joining with the Halesowen and Spen Valley Bands from the UK, two bands from Holland and one from Ireland to play at the Sunrise Ceremony. Three members, Amy, Charlotte and Will, will be playing in the National Scout and Guide Symphony Orchestra, I believe at Brownsea Island, so look out for us on the TV as it is going to be televised. |

Website The Explorers look after the site and we are just about to go through the 2.000 hits. It?s proven to be a great way to keep everyone in touch. | |
