28 Jul 2006 - 3rd Davyhulme Scout & Guide Band Provide Entertainment At Chamboree 2006
3rd Davyhulme Scout And Guide Band were invited to provide the entertainment at this years "Chamboree". Cheshire county scout council were hosting this international event for hundreds of scout from all over the world. The band opend the Chamboree by leading the grand parade of all partisipents into the central arena for the opening ceremony.
On Sunday 30th July the band were back in action again this time prividing the entertainment for the internatioal picknic in the central arena along with hundreds of picknicker's and trditional "South African Drum and Dance Troope".
Later in the afternoon the band held a music workshop with all invited to have a bash on the drums or blow there own trumpet, a good time was had by all.
